‘Whiskey’ is the English version of the Irish word ‘Uisce’ which means ‘water’. In my Grandfather’s time, many men would have a pint of stout followed by a whiskey chaser. ‘Pint please and a Ball O’ Malt’ would be the standard request in a pub.

Malt, wood, vanilla, smoked oak, herbs, toffee, honey…In fact up to 24 different aromas can be found in malt whiskeys and in this candle.
