Lekue 3D Easter Egg & Bunny Mould

Is it Easter time? Do you want to make your own chocolate eggs and rabbit? Making chocolate is an activity that traditionally entails a high level of difficulty. Lékué has turned the idea around and has developed flat silicone moulds to make 3D Easter egg and bunny.

After the moulds have been filled and the chocolate has hardened, you have plates that can be assembled in the form of a cross, creating a modern Easter egg and rabbit with a 3D appearance. Thus, this task becomes something easy and simple to share, a perfect activity for the whole family. The result is always perfect and clean and it makes children and adults feel delighted with the product of their work.

The mould is designed to have fun with different types of chocolate: white, dark, milk chocolate... can be combined to form interesting combinations. The mould is made of platinum silicone and can be used in the oven, microwave and freezer. It is also dishwasher safe.

Tempering method:

1. Melt 2/3 of the chocolate needed in the microwave oven or in a double saucepan up to 40ºC. (38 ºC in the case of white and milk chocolate). You can use a bowl and a spatula to melt and stir the chocolate.
2. After reaching the temperature, add the remaining chocolate cut up in small pieces, and stir until homogeneous.
3. Fill the moulds and let the chocolate cool down in the fridge.
4. Remove from the mould carefully and assemble the pieces.
